A scathing critique of the modern art business, which perhaps could be applied to any facet of the entertainment world? A charismatic, misanthropic commentary on the relationship between creativity and money. With this and NIGHTCRAWLER, director Dan Gilroy and cinematographer Robert Elswit show Los Angeles in a fresh, pulsating light. Though, I am not quite sold on the non-scary horror-y stuff.
