Director Pedro Almodóvar’s deeply disappointing latest is out this Friday.
My take on I’M SO EXCITED: http://www.filmaluation.com/im-so-excited.html Stills from Pixar's latest. They've gone down the prequel route. Look at the level of animation in the above image!
MONSTERS UNIVERSITY out in the UK 12th July, and the USA 21st June. Baz Luhrmann may have misfired with AUSTRALIA, but MOULIN ROUGE and ROMEO + JULIET are so evocative that whatever project he's working on has me anticipating.
THE GREAT GATSBY is out in the UK on the 16 May and the USA on the 10th. The blockbuster season is open us. After the bon viveur of the last instalment, I have my FAST & FURIOUS 6 face on.
Out in the UK on the 17th May and the USA on the 24th. IRON MAN 3 ★★ Tickled funny bone, but adrenal glands left uncared for. Weak action + creaky plot = big come down after AVENGERS high.

And so the finale is upon us. SPARTACUS: WAR OF THE DAMNED is out to own on the 29th. My review: http://www.filmaluation.com/spartacus-war-of-the-damned.html |

Noun, “filmaluation”: The evaluation of a film Verb, "to filmaluate”: To evaluate a film I am well aware how difficult it is to make a film, put on a stage play, create a television show, write a novel, let alone make something of note.
