The first felt fresh. Will the sequel add anything to the genre?
I want this to be epic in a LORD OF THE RINGS sense.
THE BOYS [season one] ★★★★½
Power corrupts. What if the likes of Superman are malevolent? Whether cinema or television, this is one of the best superhero genre offerings out there. Intelligent, dark, and funny. Wait till you get to the scene with the dolphin, you’ll never look at Aquaman in the same way! Violent and sweary, it sh*ts on corporate greed and a myriad of other targets.
