A sidekick is only necessary in a comedy. This looks like Robin done right.
Sean Ellis has directed one good feature film from three. Will this even the tally?

JASON BOURNE ★★☆☆☆
2016 seems to be the cinema year of the redundant franchise addition. Pointless, underwhelming stuff. Throwing in a Greek riot and the word "Snowden" does not magically make this seem topical.
CATASTROPHE [season two] ★★★★☆
So funny. Leagues ahead of most rom-coms. Refreshingly, everyone has unabashed personality flaws.
What is the point of this remake? What are the chances it will exceed the scope of the 1959 version?

- The unexpected
Brains and soul are key; but adrenaline junkies do not fret, there is also much love for an experience that delivers a sucker-punch to the guts via stunningly delivered thrills.
The evaluation of a film
Verb, "to filmaluate”:
To evaluate a film
I am well aware how difficult it is to make a film, put on a stage play, create a television show, write a novel, let alone make something of note. (That appreciation doesn’t stop me from having high standards though.)
