HIT MAN ★★★★★ Expert tone juggling. A riotous, mesmerising assassin comedy. Director Richard Linklater’s ridiculously entertaining return to form. Glen Powell and Adria Arjona give star-making turns. My review, click here  FALLOUT [season one] ★★★★★ Wild brilliance. I did not want this to end. Some of the best visual effects I’ve ever seen in a TV show. Two innocents are assailed by human depravity in a post-Armageddon carcase. By turns amusingly over-the-top and epically sinister. 
CIVIL WAR ★★★★★ The F.B.I. has been disbanded. The president is on his third term. A road movie cataloguing anarchy, swinging from the fist-clenchingly tense to the visually stunning. From the director of EX MACHINA and DEVS. See it at an IMAX.
