Spider-Man movies feel like Bond now: Uninspired and mildly diverting. The ending continues the CGI shoulder-shrug climax that dogs the genre. Like HOMECOMING, there is a hint at an interesting adversary, but character work is undernourished. The conclusion should have come halfway through and the rest of the film follow from there.
