Unsane
“I’m alone in a strange city and I never feel safe,” Sawyer Valentini (Claire Foy) Director Steven Soderbergh's engrossing, brilliantly shot thriller is made on an iPhone, and stars THE CROWN’s Claire Foy. The colour scheme is vibrant. The camerawork is dextrous. Unless you are interested in the technical aspect, you should quickly forget that the movie is shot on a mobile phone. Those enamoured with the potential wizardry of cinema will continually have a smile of admiration. Now I want to see a Star Wars movie shot on an iPhone. UNSANE joins TANGERINE as an inspiration for aspiring filmmakers. “There are some people in this world who should never have been born,” Misumi (Kôji Yakusho) Part of the reason why THE DARK KNIGHT is so beloved, is because the Joker is unusually scary. What makes him terrifying is a formidable intelligence married to someone who cannot be reasoned with. Delivering a myriad of arguments to influence is fruitless. This is also a large contributing reason to LUTHER’s success. The television show’s adversaries for the titular policeman are anarchists with no discernible cause.
