Exhilarating. This feels weighty. The dialogue is mellifluous. The acting filled with gripping solemnity. The score skilfully both anchors and drives proceedings.

Modern Brazilian western. Eschews clichés of town being rescued by strangers. Has biting political allegory. Could have benefitted from the climax being taken off the leash.

What a comedy! The camerawork is unbelievable. The scene orchestration is sublime. Avoids the usual bromance formula, for something sadder and less mawkish.
