Lazy jump scares and poor lighting. Half-baked horror. No chemistry between the leads. Perfunctory dialogue. A dire adaptation of the novel. After his performance in IT [2017], this could have been an opportunity for Bill Skarsgård to be in contention for a best supporting actor nomination, but CHAPTER TWO let him down.
