A bit Terrence Malick, for better and worse, with some JARHEAD thrown in. Not as good as that may sound.

Seemingly in the same universe as TWO MOTHERS, Anne Zohra Berrached delivers another searing portrayal of impending parenthood. A lady next to me was crying during 24 WEEKS. An understandable reaction. Berrached is cementing herself as a filmmaker of sensitivity and intelligence.
BEING 17 ★★½☆☆
Solid, but too padded and overly melodramatic, coming of age story from André Téchiné.
