IN FEAR ★★★½☆ Nattily crafted low budget chiller. A lesson in economy, though stretches believability.
DOM HEMINGWAY ★★★☆☆ Unexpected delight comes, not just from Jude Law's sweary swagger, but Richard E. Grant's commendable support.
BAD GRANDPA ★★½☆☆ In the vein of BORAT/BRUNO, not as funny or as cutting. Intermittent chortles, but guffaws in too short supply.
COMMUNITY [season 3] ★★★★★ After shaky start, re-finds groove. Keeps going like this, and might become my favourite show of all time.
BACHELORETTE ★★★☆☆ Kirsten Dunst especially biting. So much of flick spent playing with tropes, shame ending settles for convention.
GAME OF THRONES [season 2] ★★½☆☆ Needs epic budget, just comes across as budget. Classy cast ennobles: Dinklage, Coster-Waldau, Glen, Dance.
CITIZEN RUTH (1996) ★★★★☆ Payne's debut is his most accomplished. (Each after progressively less good.) Satire skewers multiple targets.
