CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR ★★☆☆☆
Promised much, delivered little. A now constant, bloodless storytelling déjà vu exists with these movies.

BOSCH’s intro song, ‘Can’t Let Go’, by Caught a Ghost.
BOSCH [season two] ★★★☆☆
A step up in terms of multiple plot threads. Slick and acted with conviction, but still needs another intensity gear.
Charismatic thesps, Blunt and Ferguson, I'm in. Out 7th October.
WHISKY GALORE! will close the Edinburgh International Film Festival 2016.
Hollywood can’t seem to do Godzilla right. It’s back to Japan’s turn. GODZILLA RESURGENCE.
I am loving the casting choices, even if no one needs a remake of THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN. (At least it’s not a remake of SEVEN SAMURAI.)
Can't argue with the casting.
New home, new date.

- The unexpected
Brains and soul are key; but adrenaline junkies do not fret, there is also much love for an experience that delivers a sucker-punch to the guts via stunningly delivered thrills.
The evaluation of a film
Verb, "to filmaluate”:
To evaluate a film
I am well aware how difficult it is to make a film, put on a stage play, create a television show, write a novel, let alone make something of note. (That appreciation doesn’t stop me from having high standards though.)
