Guillermo del Toro returns to horror. Will it wash away the bad taste of PACIFIC RIM? Somehow we are meant to be invested in players haphazardly presented, in a tale sketchily envisioned.
My review of BLACKHAT: http://www.filmaluation.com/blackhat.html At the press conference for CHASUKE'S JOURNEY, director Sabu, and actors Ken'ichi Matsuyama and Ito Ohno:
BALIKBAYAN #1 MEMORIES OF OVERDEVELOPMENT REDUX III ★★½☆☆
Made over 35 years, this documentary lacks cohesion. Richard Madden, a.k.a. GAME OF THRONES' Robb Stark, was at the CINDERELLA press conference. There was no "Red Press Conference" thankfully.
At the CINDERELLA press conference: Cate Blanchett, Kenneth Branagh, Lily James, Richard Madden, Helena Bonham Carter and Stellan Skarsgård: BIG FATHER, SMALL FATHER AND OTHER STORIES ★★★½☆
Pregnancies & vasectomies. A dreamy Vietnamese DAYS OF BEING WILD. CINDERELLA ★½☆☆☆ Artless & pointless. Branagh continues his duff run, adding virtually nothing to this live action version. Might CINDERELLA [2015] have Cate Blanchett's first bad performance? CHASUKE'S JOURNEY ★★★½☆ Sabu coulda made a live action LEGO MOVIE, but fumbles last third. He's still a master builder. At the press conference for 45 YEARS, actors Charlotte Rampling and Tom Courtenay:
Was there a connection between French actress Juliette Binoche and me at the NOBODY WANTS THE NIGHT press conference? Also attending, actors: Rinko Kikuchi (Pacific Rim, Babel) and Gabriel Byrne (Miller’s Crossing), and director Isabel Coixet (Me Without You):

Noun, “filmaluation”: The evaluation of a film Verb, "to filmaluate”: To evaluate a film I am well aware how difficult it is to make a film, put on a stage play, create a television show, write a novel, let alone make something of note.
